There are not much guides on how to flash custom roms on your htc Sensation Rooted with S-ON so i decided to make one i have tried these steps and it works like a charm :-)

For Guide How To Unlock, Root And Install Custom Recovery This is The Guide

Note:
This Method Will Only Work If You Have 4EXT Custom Recovery Installed With Smart Flasher Enabled

Steps:

  • Go To 4EXT Recovery (Enable Smart flasher If Not Enabled)
  • Do NOT use superwipes
  • Wipe data, cache, and dalvik cache
** (if you are simply applying an update to this rom base this might not always be required)
*** ((but do not report bugs if you didn't full wipe))
  • Flash ROM
  • Flash GAPPS
  • Reboot
  • Now You have android 4.4 on Your Htc Sensation :-)

    1. this is because the kernel of this rom is overclocked you have to download no frills cpu control from the play store and then under clock your processor to 1.88 this will solve the battery and heating problem :-)

    1. But is it normal for min clock frequency to stay at 384 MHz. What can you suggest for the rest? What config can be the best for my HTC at all? Just to be sure.

    2. yes it is normal frequency 384 mhz for minimum. and do not change any other options in the app this interfering with the options may permanently hard brick your phone and if you want to configure it then do some research on google and then configure it but configure the settings with caution.

  7. To tell the truth my mobile works perfectly well, it's stable and I have no problem concerning the energy from now on, as long as I don't use the internet of course. It would have been really nice if that could be fixed. I hope so. But it doesn't really matter, the most important now is that I look my mobile by smiling, and I believe that it is always pleased to see me too. Another big thank you Mr. Adeel. ;)

  9. Be reassured that your two files are into the root (main sd), nowhere else. Data, cache and dalvik have to be wiped. Then install the ROM followed by gapps package. It should work that way, if percists take back steps from the beginning but do not install gapps this time.
